School Closure - 3/30

School Closure
Posted on 03/30/2020
Dear Bailey Charter Families:

I hope you and your family are well and you have found some extra opportunities for quality family time during this unprecedented Spring Break. We have been working daily to prepare for the school closure and are hoping our families and students will benefit greatly from the efforts our teachers are putting into creating resources for learning at home.

While I know that distance learning cannot replace the power of face-to-face instruction or the effectiveness of teacher relationships with students, I feel very fortunate that we have quality staff who will still offer support to students in a work-from-home model. Please be assured that student privacy will be maintained with all types of communication.

Teachers will be creating content during the designated period of April 6 through April 16. Materials will be available by Friday, April 3. Additional communication later this week will provide details for delivery of these materials.

I feel confident that the learning opportunities for teachers and students will lead to better resources and stronger instructional practices when we are able to return to classrooms. Please prioritize your health and care for your family during this time.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Engebretson, Principal
