School Closure - 5/14

School Closure
Posted on 05/13/2020

Dear Bailey Charter families,

We have prepared additional packets for all students containing work for Week 7 and Week 8 of Distance Learning; there will be no packets for Week 9 of this quarter.  Packets will be available for pick-up at school tomorrow, Thursday, May 14 and this Friday, May 15 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.  These packets will also be available to download on our website at baileycharter.org; if you are planning to access the materials online, please give us a call to let us know.

If you have completed paper packets from previous weeks of Distance Learning and you would like to turn them in, we will be accepting them at this time.  This is not a requirement, just an option for those of you who are interested.  We are also still accepting Progress report envelopes and thank-you notes for Governor Sisolak, if you have them.

This will be the final set of Distance Learning materials that your family will need to pick up for your students to complete.  Many teachers have also brought in end-of-the-year gifts for their students, so we will be passing those out as well.  J

We are hoping to invite families back to our campus in the near future to collect students’ personal items, pick up yearbooks, and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating kindergarteners and 6th graders.  At this time, we do not have concrete plans for these events, but we want you to know that they are on our to-do list once we get clear guidance from State authorities about how and when to invite families onto our campus again.  We will keep you posted on all plans once they are finalized.

Once again, we will be here from 12:00-4:00pm this Thursday and Friday.  As always, if you have any questions, you can leave us a voicemail at (775) 323-6767 ext. 115, email us at info@baileycharter.org, or send us a message at facebook.com/baileycharter.  We’ll see you soon!

Sincererly,
Michelle Engebretson
